Total Equine Massage

Why Choose Equine Massage Therapy?

Equine athletes, just like human athletes, strain and
overwork their muscles while performing.  A Certified
Equine Massage Therapist will massage to help relax
the muscles and decrease recovery time.  Equine
massage increases circulation which benefits aged
horses.  Even the backyard companion will benefit from
therapeutic equine massage.  Aged, arthritic horses and
those with old sports injuries benefit greatly from
equine massage.
If you have noticed that your horse has shortened his
strides, has a sore back or stiffness, an unwillingness to
bend to the left or right, problems picking up the canter
or bucking during transitions, then equine massage
therapy  will aid in relaxing or stimulating the muscles.
Underdeveloped or overdeveloped muscles can affect
your horses gait, flexibility and  suppleness.  Equine
massage therapy will stimulate underdeveloped
muscles and strengthen the area.  As a Certified Equine
Massage Therapist I will use gait analysis to help
determine any problem areas that can be massaged to
return fluidity of movement for the client.
